Syrsky dismissed the chief of staff of the Unmanned Systems Forces: the SBU check is next

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, decided to conduct an additional inspection of the Chief of Staff of the Command of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Captain First Rank Roman Hladkyi. This decision was made after a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Intelligence and Defense, informs General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

For the period of the inspection, which will be carried out by the SBU, Hladkyi has been suspended from performing official duties. The reason for the check was information published in the media, according to which Hladky’s wife allegedly had a Russian passport and lived in occupied Crimea, and his daughter participated in sports events in Sevastopol under the flag of the Russian Federation.

This information became public after Hladky was appointed Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2016, and later in 2018 he was dismissed due to improper performance of official duties. At the time, the Ministry of Defense rejected speculation about other reasons for his dismissal, which were put forward by some media outlets.

Now law enforcement agencies will check the situation to confirm or refute the published data.
