TCC turned the delivery of summonses into a sports game: the employee disclosed the details of the “competition”

Against the background of constant challenges and difficulties faced by the Ukrainian army in the conditions of war, the activity of territorial procurement centers (TCC) has always been under the watchful eye of society. The issue of serving summons has become particularly acute, given the mass mobilizations. But it turns out that behind the strict appearance of the process hides an element of play and competition among the TCC employees themselves. This situation stated in the interview, reveals unexpected details of the inner life of TCC employees.

TCC employees organize unofficial competitions among themselves, which may seem strange at first glance. According to a representative of the TCC, they do not have a strict plan or quota for serving subpoenas, but this does not prevent employees from discussing among themselves who served how many subpoenas.

“It became a kind of internal game: who handed out more and who gave out less summons. Every day, employees share how many subpoenas they managed to deliver. This is on a day-to-day basis, we serve summonses on a daily basis. There is a certain sporting interest. “How many do you have?”, “I have already handed over 5.” Someone has more one day, another has more the next day. It doesn’t help, we don’t have a plan. It’s just a sporting interest among one’s own.” – told the TCC employee.

It also turned out that they have a kind of “bonus” for handing out summonses to drivers of expensive cars. At the same time, “helic” or other luxury cars are considered a great success.

“There is a competition to issue a summons to the person who has the coolest car. There is “helic”. The guy is going to go on a “helic”, he needs to be served with a summons. The more expensive the car, the more interesting it is. There is such a tick among my own, to hand it to someone on “helic”. Tesla is an already passed option. I haven’t had it on “helic” yet. We have an understanding that if someone rides a “helic”, it is either someone very cool, or a bandos is already a tick”. – he says.

An employee of the TCC shared that he even had a case when he managed to serve a summons to the driver of the latest Mercedes-Benz S-class model. For them, it is a kind of sign of recognition and achievement. As everyone knows, such cars can belong either to very important people or to some influential figures, which cannot but raise the self-esteem of TCC employees.

Therefore, turning the delivery of subpoenas into a kind of game and competition between TCC employees reveals the human side of this difficult process. Despite the seriousness of the tasks faced by these workers, there is also room for competitiveness in their work, which certainly adds a psychological touch to their work. But it also raises questions about the ethics of such contests, especially in the context of war, where every summons can change someone’s life.
