The All-Ukrainian FPV drone racing tournament took place in Kyiv

The All-Ukrainian FPV drone racing tournament was held in Kyiv, dedicated to the memory of Major of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Rostyslav Parkhomenka. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Rostislav Parkhomenko commanded a group of special forces which, at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, operated in the area of Buchi and Irpen, destroying more than 20 units of Russian military equipment. Later, he worked in the southern direction, where he was one of the first to use the latest unmanned means of destruction. The major died while performing a combat mission.

“Rostislav stood at the origins of unmanned systems, because he understood that the strength of the Ukrainian army lies in technology, courage and people. This tournament demonstrates the unity of war and sport, strength and intelligence. It shows that Ukraine can create new products and fight,” explained Major General Viktor Khorenko.

In the children’s category, Nazar Karmannikov (Free Sky Ukraine) won the first place, Mykhailo Bondarets (ShukaTEAM) won the second place, Kem Yunliu (PROFPV School) won the third place. Among the military, the participant with the call sign “Gadget” won, “Jef” took second place, and “Chief” came third.

“It’s nice to see the development of this young sport, which is very relevant in our time, because the technologies needed on the battlefield are used here. But the main thing is that the memory of our heroes is honored. They are alive as long as we take care of their memory,” Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Vitaly Lavrov emphasized.
