The Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Pokrov direction are being reinforced with additional units: Syrian
The Ukrainian Defense Forces are receiving reinforcements in the Pokrovske direction and are continuing offensive operations in the area of the Dobropil salient. This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, who is currently in the Pokrovske direction.
“I continue my work in the Donetsk region, in particular in the area of responsibility of the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. I listened to reports from commanders on the ground on the current situation and urgent needs. Key issues: securing logistics, actions of assault groups to push the enemy out of urban areas, ” – the commander-in-chief reported.
According to Syrsky, Ukrainian troops in the Pokrovskoye direction are currently being reinforced with additional units, weapons and equipment, including unmanned systems.
The commander-in-chief noted that over the past day, Ukrainian units in certain areas in the area of the Dobropil salient were able to advance. As part of the operation in this direction, 188 km² of territory were liberated, and 248.7 km² were cleared of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
According to Syrsky, the pressure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Dobropil salient is forcing Russian troops to disperse their forces, which makes it impossible for the enemy to concentrate its main efforts in the Pokrovskoye area.
