The Armed Forces of Ukraine is on the way to digitalization: the Ministry of Defense presents a new application

The Ministry of Defense announced preparations for the launch of a new mobile application that will make life easier for Ukrainian veterans. About this reported Defense Minister Rustem Umyerov during a speech at the seventh International Veterans Forum, the press service of the department informs.
According to his words, Ukraine continues to implement digital solutions in the military sphere. Currently, Ukrainians can already use such mobile applications as “Reserve+” and “Army+”. The next important step will be the launch of the new “Veteran+” application, which will allow you to receive government services online, minimizing the use of paper documents. The government is actively working on this digital initiative.
In addition, Umerov noted that the state is actively adopting the experience of the G7 and G20 countries to improve the rehabilitation program for veterans. Today, the Department of Psychological Support is operating, and infrastructure projects are being implemented, in particular, the reconstruction of military hospitals in various cities.
At the same time, cooperation with communities is carried out within the framework of the “Barrier-free” project, which is aimed at ensuring equal opportunities for veterans on an equal basis with other citizens.
“Thanks to veterans, our state stands firm in the fight for its freedom. Together we are building a future where every veteran will feel the state’s gratitude and care”, – the minister emphasized.
