Export of agricultural products by road transport from Ukraine significantly decreased in June

As of June 24, 2024, the volume of exports agricultural products from Ukraine by road transport amounted to 261 thousand tons since the beginning of the month. This is significantly less than in May, when 426,000 tons were exported, Spike Brokers reports.

The Polish border remains the export leader with an indicator of 106 thousand tons, the Slovak border occupies the lowest position with 18 thousand tons. On the Romanian border, the export figure is 62 thousand tons, on the Moldovan border – 43 thousand tons, on the Hungarian border – 31 thousand tons. The average daily export rate across all borders decreased slightly and amounted to 10,885 tons, which is 7% less compared to the penultimate week., the message says

Sunflower oil (38,000 tons) and soybeans (30,000 tons) remain the main products exported by road transport.

«The expected decrease in annual exports next year and the balancing of exports by different modes of transport in different directions will relieve the excessive burden on the automobile industry. Prices for road transport remain at the level of the previous week“, experts added.
