SBI investigators together with the SBU completed the investigation of the case concerning the assistant judge of the Dnipro Court of Appeal, who passed confidential information from the register of court decisions to criminal circles. About this informs DBR press center.
“Associating with persons who were related to local criminal circles, the judge’s assistant helped them obtain the necessary information. First of all, criminals were interested in planned searches or conducting investigative actions against specified persons.” – the message says.
She received surnames for verification via messenger, and then searched for relevant data in the “Unified State Register of Court Decisions”. According to the agreement, the assistant had to check the register at least twice a week. The investigation documented numerous cases of the transfer of classified information to third parties. After the revelation, the official was dismissed.
The former judge’s assistant is accused of unauthorized copying of information from automated systems, committed repeatedly and with a prior conspiracy by a group of persons (Part 3 of Article 362 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
