The Cabinet of Ministers allocated 237 million hryvnias to complete the construction of fortifications in two regions
The Cabinet of Ministers decided to allocate UAH 237.7 million to complete the construction of fortifications in the territories of Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions. About this it is said in Government Order No. 581.
Funding is provided for measures aimed at strengthening the country’s defense capabilities, in particular for the completion of the construction of military engineering and technical facilities, the strengthening of defense lines and the installation of anti-explosive barrier systems. According to the document, Kharkiv regional state administration will receive UAH 210.4 million, and Chernihiv regional state administration will receive UAH 27.3 million.
We will remind you that on October 25, 2024, the government decided to form a reserve of materials for the construction of engineering and fortification structures.
“This will be a stock of necessary materials, which will allow to quickly deploy the construction of fortifications where it is necessary and where our military will determine”, – explained the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
To implement this approach, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the Procedure for the creation, maintenance, storage and use of material reserves for the construction of military engineering and fortification facilities.
