The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the draft Law “On Amending the Law of Ukraine “On the Development of the Aircraft Industry””. About this reported permanent representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk.
According to him, the document envisages enshrining at the legislative level such terms as “aviation technology” and “state support of the aircraft industry”. The draft law also contains new provisions on the procedure for providing financial aid to enterprises in the industry — its sources can be both state and local budgets in accordance with the provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On State Aid to Business Entities”.
In addition, the draft law proposes to establish responsibility for enterprises that improperly report on the use of support funds. Such companies will be excluded from the list of aircraft-building entities eligible for temporary state support measures. The decision on exclusion will be adopted by the government at the request of the relevant central executive body.
We will remind that on May 16, the government allocated 298 million hryvnias for the implementation of four reconstruction projects in Zaporizhzhia region, as well as 598 million hryvnias for the reconstruction of facilities in Kharkiv region.
Since 2022, tens of thousands of energy, residential, social, transport and critical infrastructure facilities have been restored in the country. More than 100,000 Ukrainian families have already received financial assistance and certificates within the framework of the isRecovery program. In addition, a decision was made to pay almost 94,000 families as compensation for damaged housing, and 18,000 certificates were issued for the purchase of new housing instead of the destroyed one.
