The government has approved a mechanism for paying assistance to citizens within the framework of the “Winter Support” program. Its main element is a one-time payment of UAH 1,000 for each citizen of Ukraine. About this reportedPrime Minister Yulia Svyridenko.
Starting this Saturday, November 15, and until December 24, 2025, every Ukrainian will be able to apply to “Diya” to receive UAH 1,000. You can apply for assistance for yourself or for a child.
There are two ways to apply and receive funds:
- Through the “Diya” application – after processing the application, the money will be transferred to the “National Cashback” card. It can be used to pay for utilities, purchase medicines, Ukrainian-made products, postal services, books, as well as for charity and donations to the Defense Forces.
- At a Ukrposhta branch — the payment will be credited to a special account. Such funds can be spent on Ukrainian-made goods at Ukrposhta branches, payment for utilities, and donations.
You can use the funds received until June 30, 2026 – at any convenient time.
“The goal of Winter Support is to reach as wide a circle of people as possible with support from the state on the eve of winter, to help pay utility bills and cover basic needs,”— the message says.
