The Cabinet of Ministers approved the Procedure for organizing and conducting attestation of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications

Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted resolution “On approving the Procedure for organization and conducting attestation, evaluation of integrity and professional competence of customs officials during certifications” No. 1100. This document establishes clear rules and mechanisms for attestation for employees of customs authorities.

“The approval of this order is an important stage of the customs system reform, aimed at increasing the professional level and integrity of the staff, as well as a significant step towards strengthening the institutional capacity of the customs authorities”, the State Customs Service emphasizes.

The certification is planned to be carried out according to clearly defined criteria, taking into account the level of knowledge of legislation, professional skills, the ability to properly perform official duties, as well as compliance with the standards of integrity and ethics of a civil servant.

The document was adopted to provide an objective assessment of the professional competence and integrity of customs officials, to determine their suitability for the positions they hold and their further professional potential, as well as to ensure that the qualifications meet the modern requirements and tasks of the customs service.
