“Lysy Ukrainy” is the largest forest user in the country and one of the leading ones in Europe. The enterprise is engaged in the management of forestry and hunting farms, nature protection and resource recovery.

First Deputy Minister of Economy Oleksiy Sobolev noted that the creation of a supervisory board will contribute to the implementation of modern standards of corporate governance, which correspond to legislative norms and OECD principles. This, according to him, will strengthen the trust of international partners and attract investments.

We will remind that in August 2024 a competition for the positions of members of the supervisory board was announced, and in April the company was included in the list of strategic companies. During 2024, “Forests of Ukraine” held auctions that secured the state budget in the amount of 1.3 billion hryvnias.
