The Cabinet of Ministers expanded the list of categories for inclusion in the Register of damages caused by Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.

“War Damage Compensation – Now More Categories. Soon, it will be possible to submit a statement not only about the death and disappearance of loved ones, damage to health or lost property, but also about forced departures abroad, deportation of children and adults, loss of housing, work or own business, explained Svyridenko.

According to her, submission of claims for compensation for damages, losses or damage to the Register is still carried out through the “Action”.

Representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk noted that changes have been made to the procedure for submitting applications, which relate to the expansion of categories:

“The following categories are provided for: category A1.2 Forced displacement outside Ukraine; categories A2.8 Forcible transfer or deportation of children; category A2.9 Forcible displacement or deportation of adults; category A3.3 Loss of housing or place of residence; category A3.4 Loss of paid work; categories A3.5 Loss of private entrepreneurship”.
