The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated 840 million hryvnias for the protection of energy facilities in the Kharkiv region
On September 22, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated 840 million hryvnias for the protection of energy facilities in the Kharkiv region. This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.
“ UAH 840 million was allocated for the protection of energy facilities in the Kharkiv region at the government meeting. Funds from the reserve fund of the state budget are directed for Kharkiv OVA to the construction of protective structures at JSC “Kharkivoblenergo” substations, she said following the results of the government meeting.
According to Svyridenko, this will allow protecting transformers at substations that provide light and heat to more than 220,000 residents of Kharkiv Oblast.
“Our task is to do everything possible so that Ukrainians in the front-line regions have light and warmth, despite constant Russian attacks”, the Prime Minister added.
We remind you that on September 16, “Zaporizhiaoblenergo” received UAH 630 million from the reserve fund of the State Budget for the construction of protective structures.
“According to the results of the trip to the region, a decision was made at the government meeting to allocate UAH 630 million from the reserve fund of the State Budget for the construction of protective structures at the Zaporizhzhyaoblenergo substations, explained Yulia Svyridenko.
According to her, these objects are critically important, as they are constantly under threat of missile and artillery fire from Russia.
