The Cabinet of Ministers has frozen the prices of natural gas for the population until March 31, 2026

The Government approved the decision on the sustainable passage of the heating season of 2025/2026 and increasing the stability of critical infrastructure. In particular, the guaranteed supply of natural gas at fixed prices for heat energy producers for the needs of the population and budget institutions has been extended in the period from November 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026.

The cost of gas will remain unchanged: for the population – 7,420 hryvnias including VAT per 1,000 cubic meters, for budget institutions – 16,390 hryvnias including VAT per 1,000 cubic meters.

“Russia continues to target our critical infrastructure. We must do everything to ensure the stability of our communities and people during the heating season. Prices for the supply of natural gas for people, heat supply companies, and budget institutions will not increase.

We must do everything in our power to ensure heat in homes, schools, and hospitals. But the successful passage of winter depends not only on the decisions of the state, but also on each of us — it is important to be frugal with resources and jointly support the country’s energy sustainability,” stressed Oleksiy Kuleba, Minister of Community and Territorial Development.

Also, at the government meeting, the project of the resolution on state supervision in the field of water supply and drainage was supported. The document defines clear criteria for assessing the risks of enterprises in this industry and is aimed at strengthening the protection of consumer rights.
