The Cabinet of Ministers has restricted access to data on defense enterprises from public registers

The Government of Ukraine has decided to limit access to data on enterprises of the defense-industrial complex from public registers for the period of martial law. This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.

In particular, the restrictions apply to information about the location of military and industrial facilities and production facilities.

“The data will be hidden from public aggregators so that no one can get this data. Fuses were laid so that the norm applied specifically to defense manufacturers and specifically during the period of martial law. Thank you to the Ministry of Defense for the developed solution,” explained Svyridenko.

She added that the security of the defense industry is a key condition for scaling up production and introducing innovations.

We would like to remind you that on September 9, the Cabinet of Ministers approved changes to the procedure for booking conscripts. The new changes provide for the reservation of all employees of critical enterprises that are registered and operate in territories where hostilities are (or have been) ongoing or temporarily occupied. This will save jobs and ensure the stable operation of enterprises in the front-line territories, including defense industry enterprises.

It is also envisaged to transfer the functions of determining the criticality of enterprises of the defense-industrial complex and organizing the booking of their employees from the liquidated Ministry of Strategic and Industrial Production to the Ministry of Defense.

According to the agency, the introduced changes should ensure the stable functioning of enterprises in the frontline regions. According to estimates, the economic effect of this decision may exceed 2 billion hryvnias per year thanks to preserved production and stable tax revenues.
