The Chinese Foreign Ministry noted new trends in the political settlement of the “Ukrainian crisis”
China notes the new trends in the political settlement of the “Ukrainian crisis” and hopes for the adoption of decisions that will contribute to the achievement of lasting peace. About this stated Lin Jian, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.
“The Chinese side noted new changes in the political settlement of the “Ukrainian crisis” (this is how the PRC calls Russia’s war against Ukraine)”, – emphasized Lin, commenting on the meeting of leaders of European countries regarding Ukraine, which took place on March 2 in London.
He reminded that China adheres to four key principles in its position on Ukraine: respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all states, compliance with the goals and principles of the UN Charter, peaceful resolution of conflicts and consideration of the “legitimate security concerns” of all parties.
“China hopes that the parties involved will find sustainable and long-term solutions that take into account mutual concerns through dialogue and consultation.”, – concluded the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
