The Council is planning to expand “yeRecovery” to business at the expense of international partners
The Verkhovna Rada is considering the possibility of expanding the “eRecovery” compensation program to Ukrainian businesses affected by the war.
About this reported head of the specialized committee of the parliament Olena Shulyak.
According to her, during the year of operation of the program, more than 100,000 Ukrainian families applied for compensation, and the pace is not slowing down. The total amount of agreed payments has already reached almost 18 billion hryvnias.
They plan to attract international partners to finance business compensation. According to Shulyak, negotiations are already underway, and the partners positively assess such an opportunity. The main condition for them is the minimization of corruption risks.
“Technically, it is already easy to do, since we have already passed all the stages of approval. Therefore, I am sure that international partners will be able to finance it, at least for some amount of business“, Shulyak noted.
In general, the “eRecovery” program was launched in May 2023. It allows you to receive compensation for damaged or destroyed housing. Funds can be used for repair, reconstruction or purchase of a new home.
