Public Broadcasting announced that the final of the National Selection for Eurovision-2026 will take place on February 7 and will have a charitable component. During the final show, together with the Superhumans center, they will organize a fundraiser for prosthetics for veterans who suffered as a result of the war.
This initiative is a continuation of the social mission of the National Selection, which for several years in a row has combined a musical event with support for important humanitarian areas.
The head of the Ukrainian delegation at Eurovision, Oksana Skybinska, emphasized:
“It is important for us that the National Selection has a social mission. After all, this is an event that attracts attention and can unite once again to do an important thing together. For two years in a row, Ukrainians have been collecting for humanitarian demining during the National Selection, this year we want to focus on the issue of prosthetics, because this problem is very acute right now.
This year, Jerry Heil, LAUD, LELÉKA, MOLODI, Monokate, Mr. Vel, The Elliens, Valeriya Force and ШчукаРыба will compete in the final of the National Selection, and the tenth finalist will be determined in January based on the results of voting in the “Дія” application.
