The Ukrainian military has successfully pushed back Russian units from the city of Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region and confidently controls the situation on its outskirts. About this reported Nazar Voloshyn, spokesman for the Khortytsia operational-strategic group of troops.
According to him, the Russian invaders are trying to act in small assault groups, avoiding the large-scale use of armored vehicles. Their tactic is to establish themselves in new positions and accumulate strength after advancing. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are effectively countering these attempts.
“In that direction, it was possible to stabilize the situation, and the enemy was pushed back from the city (Kupyansk)”, he assured.
Nazar Voloshyn also reported that the enemy’s equipment and manpower, which the occupiers are trying to cross the Oskil River, are promptly destroyed by the Ukrainian military with the help of firearms, in particular drones.
“Everything there is under the control of our Defense Forces. Even if some groups cross over in the number of 8 or 10 people, then from this number about 2-3 people go ashore. That is, the enemy is destroyed there too.”, – concluded the spokesperson of the “Khortytsia” OSU.
