The delegation of Ukraine will take part in the annual financial week of the IMF and the World Bank
On October 13, the annual financial week of the IMF and the World Bank will start in Washington, which will be attended by a Ukrainian delegation headed by Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko. announced the Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA Olha Stefanishyna.
A separate direction of the visit will be the deepening of cooperation between Ukraine and the USA in the field of security and increasing pressure on the aggressor. The delegation included Prime Minister Yuliya Svyridenko, Head of the OPU Andriy Yermak, Secretary of the NSDC Rustem Umyerov, Minister of Finance Serhiy Marchenko, Head of the NBU Andriy Pishnyi, Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Oleksiy Sobolev, as well as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Serhiy Kyslytsia.
The program of the visit includes the continuation of dialogue with American partners in the development of agreements between the presidents of Ukraine and the United States, discussion of energy sustainability of Ukraine, participation in the IMF financial week, the annual ministerial round table in support of Ukraine at the World Bank, as well as a number of bilateral meetings with the Administration and the US Congress. A meeting with business representatives will be a mandatory part of the visit.
We remind you that on May 29, Ukraine and the IMF agreed on the eighth revision of the extended financing program. It is designed for the years 2023–2027 and provides for the allocation to Ukraine of 15.6 billion dollars from the fund and about 150 billion dollars from international partners. The next review is scheduled for December.
