The digital platform “Veteran PRO” for veterans and their families has been launched in Ukraine
The Ministry of Veterans Affairs has launched a single online space for veterans and their families — the “Veteran PRO” platform. The site contains up-to-date information about state support programs and available services.
How reported in the Ministry of Health, the resource will be useful not only for veterans, but also for people with disabilities as a result of the war, family members fallen defenders and support specialists.
The platform has consolidated data on opportunities for veterans that were previously posted on different sites. Now on “Veteran PRO” you can find information about treatment, prosthetics, passing the VLK, rehabilitation centers, social protection, financial support, payments, pensions, housing benefits, transport and utility discounts, registration and renewal of documents, educational opportunities, employment, tax and administrative benefits, sports events, as well as grants and business support programs.
Each section provides a description of the service, the procedure for obtaining it, a list of required documents, links to relevant institutions, and answers to frequently asked questions. In addition, services can be sorted by region, status, and topic, which simplifies the search for the necessary information.
To use the platform, you need to go to the “Veteran PRO” website and select your status, including a veteran, a person with a disability as a result of war, or a family member of a deceased person. After that, users can familiarize themselves with the available services and instructions. Some services can be obtained online, and if necessary, seek help from a support specialist.
A program for free correction of skin scarring for people who have suffered injuries or burns during military service or as a result of war also continues to operate in Ukraine.
