The famous American rapper DaBaby presented a music video for the song Save Me, which is based on the story of the murder of Ukrainian Iryna Zarutska. In the video work, the performer recreated the events of that tragic day.
On his YouTube channel, DaBaby (real name – Jonathan Lindale Kirk) published a clip dedicated to the deceased Ukrainian woman. At the beginning of the video, it is briefly told about Iryna, who on an ordinary day became the victim of an attack by a stranger in the USA.
The authors of the clip tried to show the circumstances of the tragedy in the tram as accurately as possible, choosing actors who look like witnesses, the victim and the killer. At the same time, they changed the ending of the story. At the moment when the attacker was about to strike, DaBaby, who was sitting nearby, grabbed his arm, stopping the attack and saving the Ukrainian prototype. In the final scene, the rapper takes the criminal out of the vehicle and hands him over to the police. After that, information about how to help the family of Iryna Zarutska appears on the screen.
We will remind you that on August 22, 2025, 23-year-old Ukrainian Iryna Zarutska, who left for the United States after the start of the full-scale invasion, was killed in a tram in the city of Charlotte (North Carolina). An unknown man sitting behind unexpectedly attacked the girl and stabbed her several times, from which she died on the spot.
The attacker turned out to be Decarlos Brown, Jr., who tried to run away, but was detained by the police. The law enforcement officers found out that he had already had problems with the law more than once.
