The final of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will take place today
Final of Junior Eurovision 2024 will take place today, November 16. This year, 12-year-old Artem Kotenko from Okhtyrka, Sumy Region, will represent Ukraine. The competition is hosted by Madrid, where Artyom will appear on the stage of the Caja Mágica arena at number 14 with the song “Hear Me Now (Home)”, which was written especially for him by the producer of the competition Svitlana Tarabarova.
The final will be broadcast live on the Suspilne Kultura TV channel and platform, and it will also be available on the official Junior Eurovision website and Eurovision Ukraine Facebook page. The show is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. Kyiv time, and Timur Miroshnychenko, the permanent presenter of Eurovision for the Ukrainian audience, will comment on it.
Spectators, regardless of their country of residence, can support the Ukrainian participant. Voting will begin online on Friday, November 15 at 10:00 PM on JESC.TV. Voting will be temporarily suspended during the broadcast, and will reopen for approximately 15 minutes after all contestants have performed, giving you a chance to choose the best.
50% of the final points will depend on the results of audience voting, and the rest will be determined by the jury of the participating countries. The organizers remind that the theme of this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest is “Let’s Bloom”, which symbolizes growth, development and new opportunities.
