The first meeting of the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States with Keith Kellogg took place

Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA Oksana Markarova met with the special representative of the USA for Ukraine and Russia General Keith Kellogg. Meeting took place after Kellogg’s official appointment as special representative.

“This is not our first meeting with General Keith Kellogg at all, but the first in his official status as a special representative for Ukraine and Russia, to which he was appointed by President Trump on February 3”, – noted Markarova.

During the conversation, the parties discussed key issues of bilateral cooperation. The head of the Defense Attaché’s Office, General Kremenecki, and Deputy Ambassador Denys Senyk also took part in the meeting.

The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak also spoke with Keith Kellogg, discussing the details of his visit to Kyiv.

“We discussed his future visit to Ukraine, which is very important for us. A just and stable peace is a priority for Ukraine”, Yermak said.

We will remind that on February 3, US President Donald Trump signed a decree on the appointment of retired lieutenant general Keith Kellogg as a special representative for Ukraine and Russia.
