Ukrainian Defense Forces liberated 300 square kilometers of territory in the southern direction. This was stated in an interview by President Volodymyr Zelensky, reports France 24. The head of state noted that the Ukrainian military is continuing offensive operations.
“I will not go into details, but I can congratulate our army, as of today 300 sq. km. in the south have been liberated”, – said Zelensky.
The president also noted that the demands for the transfer of Donbas to Russia were voiced during the negotiations precisely when Ukrainian units were advancing on the southern front. At the same time, he did not specify the period during which the specified territory was liberated.
According to Zelensky, Ukraine is taking advantage of the situation related to the loss of access to Starlink by the Russians. At the same time, Zelensky acknowledged that the Ukrainian military also faced disruptions, but emphasized that the problems on the part of Russia are much more serious.
