The front line has been shortened by 35 km in a month: Oleksandr Syrsky

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, reported that over the past month, the contact line in Ukraine has been reduced by 35 kilometers. About this he said at a meeting with journalists.

Syrskyi specified that the current length of the front is 1,218 kilometers, while a month ago it reached 1,253 kilometers. He also cited data from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), according to which Russian forces are advancing slowly – from 1.5 to 4.5 kilometers per month, in particular “on the Pokrovsky direction – about 1.5 km”.

The Commander-in-Chief emphasized that Russia loses about a thousand soldiers every day, but this does not give it any tangible results on the battlefield.

“In November, the enemy’s losses inflicted by our unmanned forces amounted to about 24 thousand people – this is a record figure, – he noted.
