The General Staff reported that each brigade will have a full-time recruiting unit
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine issued a directive obliging each brigade commander to create a full-time recruiting unit. About this reported at the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the organizational directive, recruiting units should be formed in combat military units, which will be responsible for the organization and support of volunteer recruitment events. This innovation is aimed at increasing the efficiency of the process of equipping military units.
Previously, on the initiative of the General Staff, amendments were made to Government Resolution No. 560 of May 16, 2024. From now on, commanders are allowed to directly recruit volunteers to their units, bypassing the territorial recruitment and social support centers.
Prior to that, recruiting centers functioned in the Ground Forces, the Navy, Airborne Assault Forces, Special Operations Forces, and Territorial Defense. Today, these structures continue to develop and improve their capabilities.
Also, a new recruiting service has been launched in the “Reserve+” application, which helps Ukrainian conscripts find optimal vacancies in the Defense Forces. Currently, more than four thousand open positions are available in the database of the platform. These measures are aimed at strengthening the country’s defense capabilities and improving the process of attracting new personnel to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
