ARMA rents out Yanukovych’s apartment for 67 thousand hryvnias

The Agency for Search and Asset Management (ARMA) is again trying to rent out the two-story apartment of former President Viktor Yanukovych. Housing located on Obolonskaya Embankment in Kyiv is offered for 67,000 hryvnias per month. About this reported the head of ARMA Olena Duma.

Recently, the agency found new managers of seized real estate, who plan to rent out an apartment, receiving only 10 thousand hryvnias per month from this amount. Most of the rent will go to the state budget.

The area of the apartment is 240 square meters, and its value is estimated at at least 27 million hryvnias. In recent years, potential tenants, including diplomatic missions of other countries, have been interested in it. However, for almost ten years, the residence where Yanukovych was officially registered remained empty. In 2019, communal services charged him a debt of 50,000 hryvnias.

There is practically no furniture inside, only a few things remain in the kitchen. Plumbing is available, but ordinary, not premium. Five years ago, unknown persons stole the front door, after which the former managers installed new ones. They also invited a priest who consecrated the premises.
