The government approved a new procedure for maintaining the DAR

Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine confirmed the resolution “Some issues of the functioning of the information and communication system “State Agrarian Register” (DAR), which aims to contribute to the digital transformation of the country’s agricultural sector. The resolution defines new rules for conducting the DAR, the procedure for its administration, and mechanisms for integration with other state registers.
“The adopted innovations will contribute to the development of digitalization in the field of agrarian policy, increase the efficiency of state administration and support of producers of agricultural products and organizations of water users. In addition, they will provide quick access to analytical information for making management decisions.” — explained the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Vitaly Koval.
Among the key provisions of the document is the approval of the procedure for maintaining the State Register of Agricultural Producers. This will make it possible to identify all agricultural producers and determine the nature of the agricultural activity they are engaged in.
The resolution also provides for improving the processes of providing state support to agricultural producers, which should ensure transparency and fairness in the distribution of resources. It guarantees the unification of data with other state information systems, registers and cadastres for the purpose of unifying and updating information, as well as compliance with the requirements of legislation in the field of personal data protection and cyber security.
