The Cabinet of Ministers approved a new compensation mechanism for citizens whose homes were damaged by shelling. About this reported the press service of the government.
The decision provides targeted financial assistance from local budgets for families who have lost their homes, as well as compensation for the costs of temporary accommodation – until the completion of repairs or the provision of new housing. Financing is carried out both at the expense of international support and at the expense of local budgets as decided by the communities.
“All actions are recorded in the electronic system, and the responsibility for time and quality is on the ground. The restoration will be financed from local budgets or international aid. The solution will also speed up payments under the eRenovation program,” — explained the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyridenko
The Cabinet of Ministers noted that the main stages of compensation can be completed at the same time, and repair work is allowed to begin even before the examination is completed.
We will remind you that on July 30, the government increased support for farmers in the frontline regions who conduct economic activity on irrigated lands. In particular, the mechanism of state support for agricultural producers cultivating reclaimed land has been updated. Funds from the state budget will be directed to the restoration and construction of hydraulic facilities, including canals, pumping stations and pipelines.
