The Government of Ukraine is considering increasing the percentage of reservations in frontline and border regions
The Government of Ukraine is considering the possibility of increasing the share of reserved workers at enterprises operating in front-line and border regions. This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi during a meeting with representatives of business, volunteer and veteran communities, as well as educational institutions of Kharkiv. informs Office of the head of state.
“The President noted that the state will consider the possibility of increasing the percentage of reserved employees at enterprises that are located and work directly in the front-line and border areas,” – says the message.
At the same time, the government will work on creating a mechanism for raising wages for teachers, medical workers and employees of state institutions in the frontline and border regions. It also envisages the introduction of state insurance for local businesses and the provision of down payment guarantees for mortgages in these areas.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to issues of support for veterans, volunteers and their families, payment of energy carriers by heat supply enterprises, as well as the possibility of restructuring debt for gas.
“I will talk to the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance. We will talk separately about gas, precisely with Naftogaz. We will raise all your questions.”Volodymyr Zelenskyi noted.
