The government renewed the supervisory board of NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” and appointed new members

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the updated composition of the Supervisory Board of NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine”. This was reported by the Chairman of the Board of the company, Serhiy Koretsky.

“The Government has appointed the updated composition of the Supervisory Board of NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine”. This is a planned re-election of the members of the Supervisory Board after the end of the term of office of the previous composition on January 26, 2026,” he noted.

The independent members of the board were Robert Shleshinsky, Erik Rasmussen, Duncan Nightingale and Thor Martin Anfinnsen.

“These are reputable international specialists with deep expertise and high qualifications, who have many years of experience in the energy sector,” Koretsky emphasized.

The state representative on the supervisory board was appointed Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine Anna Artemenko. Earlier, the government also re-elected State Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers Kostyantyn Mar’evich as a member of the council.

“I thank the Government of Ukraine for its commitment to the reform of corporate governance of state-owned companies and its highly professional approach. I am also grateful to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for its technical assistance in organizing and conducting a transparent competitive selection,” the chairman of the board added.

According to him, updating the composition of the supervisory board will be an important step to further strengthen the company’s management system and implement modern corporate control standards.
