The head of the Holocaust memorial condemned Musk’s speech at the congress of the far-right party of Germany

The head of the Israeli memorial to victims of the Holocaust, Dani Dayan, accused the American billionaire Elon Musk of creating a threat to Germany’s democratic future. This happened after Musk’s speech at the congress of the far-right party “Alternative for Germany” (AfD), informs NBC News.
The AfD has officially launched its election campaign ahead of the Bundestag elections in a month. Elon Musk spoke at the event via video link, saying the AfD was Germany’s “main hope”.
Musk noted that Germany focuses excessively on the historical events of the past, and children should not be held responsible for the sins of their parents. The billionaire emphasized that Germans should be proud of their culture, which dates back thousands of years, and even mentioned Julius Caesar’s admiration for the fighting spirit of the Germanic tribes.
At the same time, Musk criticized the German government, saying that it aggressively suppresses freedom of speech and does not care about the well-being of its people. He called on the AfD to fight for greater self-determination for Germany and Europe, while reducing the influence of Brussels.
“Memory and recognition of the dark past of the country and its people must be central to the formation of German society. Failure to fulfill this requirement is an insult to the victims of Nazism and a clear threat to Germany’s democratic future.”, – stressed Dani Dayan.
