The Kyiv district of Kharkiv was attacked twice by Russian drones: a girl was injured

An explosion rang out in the northern districts of Kharkiv, at that time an air raid alert was in effect in the city. A Russian drone hit a gas station in the Kyiv district, as a result of which a girl was injured. Later, a new explosion was recorded in the north of Kharkiv – the impact fell on the road. About this reported Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

“We have information about an attack by an enemy drone of the “molnia” type on the Kyiv district of the city. An attack on a gas station. There is preliminary information about the victims. One victim is a woman at the moment,” – says the message.

Kharkiv Region Police noted, that a 20-year-old gas station visitor was injured. The investigation and operational team, the management of the district department, explosives experts and forensic experts arrived at the scene. Law enforcement officers document the consequences of an attack by the aggressor country and seize material evidence. Based on this fact, the investigators started criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — “war crimes.”

The second hit in the Kyiv region caused damage to the road, and the blast wave blew out windows in neighboring houses. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties.

We will remind you that on the night of August 5, the Russian army carried out a massive attack with kamikaze drones on Lozova, Kharkiv region, as a result of which two people were killed. 13 people were injured, including children. As a result of the strikes, only civilian infrastructure was affected: the railway station, the traction substation and the locomotive depot were destroyed. No military objects were recorded in the places where they were hit.

As a result of the attack, serious destruction occurred, six ignition sources appeared. Administrative, production, warehouse buildings, as well as the roof of the station were on fire. As a result of the shelling, almost 80% of consumers in the city were cut off. Currently, the electricity supply has been restored in Lozova, and work is underway to restore light in other settlements of the community.
