Richard Sandrak said he is proud of his achievements in his youth, but wants to put the past behind him and focus on a new life.

The “strongest boy in the world”, who was once called “little Hercules”, recently turned 31 years old. He left the career of a bodybuilder a long time ago and changed beyond recognition. British tabloid The Daily Star detailed the story of this miracle child.

Richard Sandrak gained popularity in the early 2000s due to his extremely muscular physique, despite his young age. He strictly adhered to the training regime and by the time he was a teenager he could lift weights three times his own weight.

Later, society began to worry that Richard was forced into such an extreme lifestyle by his father, Pablo. He was accused of forcing his son to follow a strict diet and exhaust himself in training. The percentage of fat in the boy’s body was extremely low – only 1%, which is dangerous for health.

The father even had a conflict with Richard’s trainer and manager, Frank Giardina, who said that Pablo’s attitude towards his son bordered on criminality.

“Richard was never allowed to eat what the other children did. His diet consisted mainly of fruits, vegetables and lean meats. He was only allowed to eat a salad between meals.”, – says a video on YouTube channel History Rewind.

When Richard was 11 years old, his father beat his mother and was imprisoned for domestic violence. Since then, Richard stopped talking to him.

Now Sandrak is 31 years old. Since 2015, he has been working as a stuntman in the Hollywood show Universal Studios Waterworld, but dreams of becoming an engineer at NASA in the future.

“People have tried to make me out to be some kind of anomaly, but there are a lot of kids with a similar build. I don’t want to be stuck with that image.”, he noted.

Richard now keeps in shape by skateboarding, but he no longer does bodybuilding.
