The mandatory evacuation zone for families with children has been expanded in the Kharkiv region
The area of mandatory evacuation of families with children from the Kupyansky district is being expanded in the Kharkiv region. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv OVA, Oleg Synegubov.
At a meeting of the Defense Council of the Kharkiv region, a decision was made to forcibly evacuate families with children from the Velyky Burlutsk territorial community (27 settlements), Vilhuvatsk (6 settlements) and Shevchenkivsk (7 settlements). In total, according to Synegubov, 601 children and 409 families need to be taken to safer places.
“The decision was made in connection with the worsening security situation in the Kupyansky direction. We call on families with minors to save their lives and leave dangerous territories, ” — explained Oleg Synegubov.
The OVA noted that evacuation routes have already been determined and places for temporary accommodation of people have been provided.
“The evacuated families will also receive support in obtaining IDP status, access to payments and humanitarian assistance. We continue to work in coordination with all services to ensure protection for each family,”, – assured the head of the OVA.
As a reminder, on October 11, the government is streamlining the evacuation process of residents of frontline territories and creating a State Information System for Coordination of Evacuation and Assistance to People from Temporarily Occupied and Frontline Regions. According to Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko, the new system will allow for a clear division of responsibilities between responsible structures and an analysis of the needs of evacuees.
