On the night of April 16, Russian troops launched 9 Shahed drones over Ukraine. According to commander Mykola Oleschuk of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, all drones were destroyed by air defense forces.
“Shakhed” were launched from Cape Chauda in the occupied Crimea.
“All nine “Shakheds” were destroyed by mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine within the Kherson, Mykolaiv, Khmelnytskyi, Poltava, Cherkasy and Dnipropetrovsk regions“, – the message of the Air Force says.
