The Ministry of Defense has completed the first stage of the reform of the Military Medical Commission: Umerov

The Ministry of Defense completed the first stage of the reform of the system of military medical commissions: starting from April 1, all military medical commissions are obliged to draw up their conclusions in electronic format. About it on April 2 reported Defense Minister Rustem Umyerov.

“The reform of the VLK is part of a major transformation that we are implementing together with the Ministry of Health, the General Staff of the Armed Forces and international partners – with the support of the governments of Great Britain and Germany, the Office of Effective Regulation of the BRDO and the Program of the Special Adviser on Defense Issues.” Umerov explained.

The Minister of Defense noted that teams from Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Lviv and Khmelnytsky regions are most actively involved in the implementation of the reform of military medical commissions. From now on, all VLKs are obliged to draw up their conclusions in electronic format.

According to Umyerov, this stage of the reform will ensure prompt, transparent and unbureaucratic processing of conclusions online, reducing the risks of corruption. The data will be automatically synchronized with the “Oberig” register, and will also be displayed in the “Rezerv+” application — with information on suitability or unfitness for service and the date of passing the VLK. In addition, it is no longer necessary to bring documents to territorial picking centers.

We would like to remind you that from April 1, 2025, the conclusions of military medical commissions will be drawn up exclusively in electronic format. This decision will contribute to reducing the number of appeals by citizens to territorial centers of recruitment and social support.
