The Ministry of Digital Affairs plans to apply artificial intelligence in the work of the judicial system

The Ministry of Digital Transformation is working on creating specialized artificial intelligence models that are planned to be used in the judicial system. It is assumed that such technologies will help form draft court decisions and facilitate faster consideration of cases for citizens. This is reported on the ministry’s website.

The ministry noted that they are starting to develop small language artificial intelligence models that will be focused on specific industries. One of the first areas will be the judicial system. To implement this project, the Ministry of Digital Transformation will cooperate with Beyond.PL, a partner of Nvidia. It will provide the necessary computing power that will be used to train and test artificial intelligence models.

Within the framework of the cooperation, it is planned to create and test the operation of artificial intelligence models intended for use in courts. Such systems will be able to assist in the preparation of draft court decisions, analysis of information in cases and other processes aimed at making the consideration of court materials faster and more convenient for citizens.

According to the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the use of specialized language models allows for more precise adaptation of artificial intelligence tools to the needs of specific areas of activity. This also makes it possible to use available resources more effectively and increase productivity in certain industries, in particular in the judicial system.
