The Ministry of Digital Transformation has started testing the eExcise system for the circulation of excisable goods

The Ministry of Digital Transformation has launched testing of the eExcise goods circulation system. Businesses that have a license to produce or sell alcohol and tobacco products can join it. About this reported Ministry of Digital Press Office.

Beta testing will take place in several stages, and the first will test the following features:

  • registration of enterprises and users in the electronic system,
  • access management of representatives of economic operators,
  • ordering unique identifiers for domestic products and entering information about imported goods from the EU,
  • integration with state registers and APIs for testing interaction with ERP systems of economic operators.

It is noted that in 2024 alone, due to the illegal trade in tobacco products, Ukraine lost 21.9 billion hryvnias.

“eExcise will help reduce corruption, increase budget revenues, eliminate unnecessary bureaucracy and make business and life easier for Ukrainians, because only quality goods will be on store shelves”, the ministry emphasized.

The eExcise project is implemented by the Ministry of Digital in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and the State Tax Service.
