The Ministry of Justice has scheduled the validation of backup copies of state registers on December 24

On December 24, the validation of backup copies of state registers affected by a large-scale cyber attack will take place. About this reported First Deputy Minister of Justice Mykola Kucheryavenko.
“Today, the restoration of the infrastructure of the registry system has begun. The validation of backup copies will already be carried out tomorrow, and the beginning of the restoration is predicted according to the agreed plan. The platforms have already been formed, their immediate filling is beginning.” – noted Kucheryavenko.
The most important registers, such as the Unified Register of Powers of Attorney, the Inheritance Register and the State Register of Civil Status Acts, will be restored first. At the same time, the registers will be launched simultaneously, since they are closely related.
We will remind that on December 19, as a result of a Russian cyberattack, there was a large-scale failure in the work of state registers. According to the information of the Deputy Prime Minister Olga Stefanishyna, the leakage of personal data has not been recorded. The Ministry of Justice predicts that it will take about two weeks to completely restore the registers.
