The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine filed a lawsuit to recover the assets of the state producer of potash fertilizers in Belarus “Belaruskaliy” for the benefit of the state budget. About this reported press service of the Ministry of Justice.
Assets subject to recovery include corporate rights, funds, railway wagons and potash fertilizers belonging to the sanctioned entity.
“Belaruskaliy” is the leading state producer of potash fertilizers in Belarus and one of the largest taxpayers to the budget of this country, which, according to the agency, is fully controlled by the political elite of the Republic of Belarus.
The Ministry of Justice emphasized that “Belaruskaliy” by its actions contributes to the waging of war against Ukraine through financial and economic relations with the enterprises of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation, as well as with the occupation administrations of the self-proclaimed “DPR” and “LPR”.
In addition, according to the Ministry of Justice, “Belaruskaliy” provided transport for the transportation and accommodation for Ukrainian children who were taken from the temporarily occupied territories to the territory of Belarus.
Also, as stated in the notice, the company participated in the organization and financing of measures aimed at maintaining the policy of the aggressor state regarding non-recognition of the Ukrainian people’s right to self-identification.
