The National Academy of Music of Ukraine is among the 100 best art institutions in the world

In 2025, the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine won unprecedented recognition, having entered to the 100 best art institutions in the world according to the QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) international rating – one of the most authoritative global educational ratings.
The QS World University Rankings evaluates the quality of educational institutions by a number of indicators, including academic reputation, achievements of graduates, level of international partnership, scientific activity and other criteria. The best music academies, conservatories and faculties of the world’s leading universities participate in the Performing Arts category. Getting into the TOP-100 means being among the world’s artistic elite — next to notable institutions in Europe, the USA, and Asia.
Such a result became possible thanks to the united and dedicated work of the academy staff, the support of the state, active international cooperation, as well as thanks to the indomitable spirit of Ukraine, which is personified by its defenders – the Armed Forces. The Academy continues to develop modern educational programs, introduces new approaches to learning, supports young performers and composers who are already winning at the most prestigious world competitions.
Academy rector Maksym Tymoshenko emphasized that this recognition is the result of many years of hard work of the entire team, and at the same time, evidence that Ukrainian culture is strong, alive and deserves a worthy place in the world.
This success was significant not only for the academy itself, but also for the entire country, which continues to establish itself in the cultural space despite the difficult conditions of a full-scale war. The teachers and students of the academy do not stop creating, teaching, performing on international stages, spreading the Ukrainian musical tradition far beyond the borders of the country.
