The National Bank launched an online course on payment security

The National Bank of Ukraine, together with the charitable organization “Kredobank Foundation” launched a free online course on payment security called #ShakhrayGudbay. The goal of the project is to raise citizens’ awareness of safe non-cash payments and teach them how to protect themselves from payment fraud.

The course has a video lecture format, in which experts use examples to explain common fraudulent schemes on the Internet. The training material contains practical advice and up-to-date information about modern methods of fraudsters.

“The National Bank consistently works to develop the financial literacy of citizens. Through systematic work and educational projects together with partners, we are creating a solid foundation for long-term changes. The launch of the #ShakhrayGoodbye online course is another step in this direction. We strive to give Ukrainians simple and effective tools to protect their money and personal data. This online course will allow you to learn how to recognize fraudulent schemes, avoid risks and confidently make online payments. It is created in a modern format, in an accessible language and with real-life examples“, – emphasized Yulia Yevtushenko, Director of the Communications Department of the National Bank of Ukraine.

The course is designed for active users of payment services from the age of 14. It consists of nine short video lectures lasting up to 10 minutes. Each lecture contains real cases of fraudulent schemes and practical advice that can be applied immediately. The format is made convenient and accessible for quick learning.

“For the “Kredobank Foundation” – the charitable corporate fund of JSC “Kredobank” – supporting educational initiatives that form knowledge and raise awareness of Ukrainians is one of the priority areas of activity. Financial literacy helps people feel more confident in everyday financial decisions and avoid the risks of fraud. That is why we joined the creation of the online course #ShakhrayGoodbye, where we shared our own practical experience and advice. We made every effort to make each lecture as practical, understandable and useful for people as possible, Solomiya Govorukha, head of the Kredobank Foundation, said.
