The Navy reacted to the remarks of MP Bezuhla regarding the “generals’ bonuses”

The Commander of the Naval Forces of Ukraine, Oleksiy Neizhpapa, responded to the statements of People’s Deputy Maryana Bezuglai about allegedly high bonuses for the leadership of the military. He explained, that we are not talking about individual payments for generals, but about bonuses for soldiers.

On January 22, deputy Maryana Bezugla published on social networks a screenshot of a document in which allegedly large bonuses for Ukrainian generals were noted. In response, the commander of the Navy specified that the document does not refer to personal payments to commanders, but to the incentive mechanism for servicemen of all categories.

According to him, last year thanks to the premium fund in the amount of 1.2 million hryvnias, 223 servicemen of all categories were awarded: sailors, sergeants, foremen and officers.

“There are tens of thousands of servicemen under my command, and our priority is to act in the interests of their well-being. We approach this issue responsibly and transparently. Therefore, there is no need to look for treason where there is none.”, – emphasized Neizhpapa.
