The Netherlands will allocate €700 million for drones for Ukraine

Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umyerov reported that the Netherlands will allocate 700 million euros for the purchase of drones for Ukraine.

“I am glad to meet with my friend, Minister of Defense Ruben Breckelmans. The Netherlands is among the leaders in supporting Ukraine, and this support remains unchanged.”, – noted Umyerov.

According to him, the Netherlands is sending 700 million euros to unmanned aerial vehicles for Ukraine. During the meeting with Breckelmans, they discussed the development of the Drone Line project, which “the Netherlands is ready to support and facilitate its expansion.” The ministers also discussed the issue of strengthening Ukraine’s anti-aircraft defense.

“Strengthening air defense remains among our top priorities. We discussed specific steps that will help Ukraine to more effectively resist Russian missile and drone attacks”, – Umerov concluded.
