The new schedule from “Ukrzaliznytsia” for 2025–2026 includes the launch of 11 new trains
JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” has published a timetable for 2025–2026, which will come into effect on December 14. The document provides for the launch of 11 new trains, 8 of which will be international and 3 domestic, as well as a number of changes and accelerations on existing routes. This was reported by the press service of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”.
The company notes that the new timetable expands connections and optimizes existing flights. During peak periods, the supply of seats is planned to be increased by 20%, and in total, about 2 million additional seats will be offered to passengers during the year.
New routes will appear in domestic traffic. In particular, train No. 47/48 Barvinkove – Chop is being launched, which should provide more convenient communication for residents of the front-line Donetsk region, in particular Kramatorsk, which will continue to have multimodal connections with other regions of Ukraine.
Train No. 33/34 Kryvyi Rih – Ivano-Frankivsk is also scheduled. Separately, “Ukrzaliznytsia” updated the route of train No. 113/114 Kharkiv – Uzhgorod, making it more convenient for residents of cities in Zhytomyr and Polissya to travel to mountain destinations, such as Slavske and Zakarpattia, while maintaining a stable connection with Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
The carrier also emphasizes that for trips to mountain rehabilitation centers and resorts, the new schedule already includes more than 40 flights, more than half of which start from front-line regions. The regional train Lviv – Vorokhta will remain in the schedule on a permanent basis, which should become a convenient transfer alternative for passengers from other regions during the peak demand season.
In international traffic, 8 new flights are planned at once. The largest number of updates will concern the Polish direction: three trains to Przemyśl and one to Chełm have been added. The company explains that the increase in the number of flights was made possible, in particular, by the purchase of new cars as part of the state program for the renewal of passenger rolling stock. Tickets for dates after December 14 are already available in the application and on the “Ukrzaliznytsia” website.
The Chairman of the Board of the company, Oleksandr Pertsovsky, emphasized:
“The 2026 timetable is based on increased efficiency: new round trips, high-quality accelerations, more carefully thought-out connections,”.
In “Ukrzaliznytsia” also reported that in less than 11 months of this year, more than 25 million passengers were transported – almost half a million more than in the same period last year.
