The number of injured children as a result of hostilities with the Russian Federation increased to 1895
As of the morning of May 24, official data Office of the Prosecutor General, as a result of military actions of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, at least 1,895 children were injured. Of them, 547 were killed, and 1,348 were injured of various degrees of severity.
It is noted that tragic cases continue to be recorded every day. Only on May 23 did it become known about the death of a 4-year-old girl who was injured during the shelling of Odesa on April 29. On the same day, a 16-year-old boy was wounded as a result of the shelling of Dergachi in Kharkiv Oblast.
The most children were affected in Donetsk region – 532, followed by Kharkiv (374), Kherson (152), Dnipropetrovsk (139), Kyiv (130), Zaporizhzhya (108), and Mykolaiv (105) regions.
We will remind, on April 30 reported about 1,854 injured children, of whom 545 died and more than 1,309 were injured.
