The number of traffic violations detected by cameras increased by 1.7 times
For 9 months of 2024, more than 3.2 million violations of traffic rules (TDR) were recorded in Ukraine by auto-fixation cameras. This is almost twice as much as in the same period last year. The number of fixations is a record for the entire time of operation of automatic cameras, which have been operating since June 2020, notes Opendatabot resource. According to the Department of Patrol Police, 99% of the recorded violations related to speeding.

The largest number of recorded violations was observed in September, when 520,247 cases were recorded. Among all recorded violations, only 1% related to entering the lane for public transport, the rest related to exceeding speed limits.
